it's the fantasy world of nyc. something like 95% of the country doesn't live there, and so much marketing makes it such ripe ground for fiction and such.
and we wonder why the people from the farms think its scary and dangerous, thanks to law and order, and its 90 spin offs, at least 90 people die every week.
